Become a POW UK Changemaker
POW UK Changemakers is a youth climate initiative for people aged 18 - 29 which is designed to equip young people with the knowledge, confidence and community to take meaningful climate action.

Climate action needs every voice, but the tools aren't always accessible. We are fully funding 50 spots on our Changemakers programme for those who have faced barriers to climate education.

Who can book?
We run on trust, not red tape. There is no formal application process or hoop-jumping - we just ask you to be honest about your journey and whether this is the right fit for you.
We’re looking for young people aged 18–29 who:
- Care about climate change
- Love the outdoors, sport, nature or community action
- Want to build confidence and knowledge
- Are interested in making a positive impact
- Want to connect with like-minded people
- No experience in climate activism or sustainability is needed.
The first training spaces are specifically for:
- Black, Asian and ethnically diverse young people
- Young people from lower-income backgrounds
- Young people underrepresented in environmental spaces
- Young people with limited access to nature or outdoor opportunities
- Young people outside traditional climate networks

Why this matters
91% of young people believe they should be involved in decisions about reducing emissions.
47% believe there is a lack of climate education.
Over half of young people say they do not know how to get involved in the transition to Net Zero.
Young people deserve a voice in shaping the future
Climate change will shape every aspect of our future - from our communities and careers to the places we love spending time outdoors. But too many young people remain excluded from climate conversations, outdoor spaces and opportunities to take action.
POW UK Changemakers exists to change that.
We believe climate action should feel accessible, hopeful and rooted in community. Our initial training is designed especially for young people who care deeply about the future but may not have had access to climate education, outdoor opportunities or environmental networks before.
